check_target
(Y, inplace=False)¶Check validity of target.
Target is expected to be categorical including only two values, either ‘bad’ and ‘good’, or 0 and 1. ‘bad’ or 1 indicates a bad case while ‘good’ or 0 a good case.
The target column to check.
Whether to change Y` in place, by default False
.
Return None
if inplace is True
else changed Y with
‘good` replaced with 0 and ‘bad’ 1.
Raises when unique count of labels doesn’t equal 2.
Raises when label values are not valid.
